Week 24's Positives and negatives.

This past week was my first week full week at work and it was AWESOME! Learnt so much and many different things. Also became a builders assistant for a whole 90mins...don't know much about building but I did really well at holding things and passing things...also correctly identified the corrected tools for passing lol good times.

I have however realized that I don't have the right amount of socks and work pants to wear for my rostered shifts...so that means pretty much means that I have to go shopping on payday! Any excuse to shop I say.

It has been a good week for the spirit as well. Just feeling the wheels set in motion for the next steps in my journey, brightens my mood and lifts my soul. And yes I know that it subject to change but all I can do is just keep moving forward like its happening in the timeframe I have given it.

Books I've Read this week

Only the one this week and it was a 466 page novel. With 11 hour days happening (time I leave home till time I am back home) I am not able to get as much reading done as I would like. I can only get a few pages read during a work day now. So this would be the only negative about working...not enough reading time lol.
Anyway the book was Come Sundown by Nora Roberts.

Love. Lies. Murder. A lot can happen... COME SUNDOWN
Bodine Longbow loves to rise with the dawn. As the manager of her family's resort in Western Montana, there just aren't enough hours in the day - for life, for work, for loved ones. She certainly doesn't have time for love, not even in the gorgeous shape of her childhood crush Callen Skinner, all grown up and returned to the ranch. Then again, maybe Callen can change her mind, given time...
But when a young woman's body is discovered on resort land, everything changes. Callen falls under the suspicion of a deputy sheriff with a grudge. And for Bodine's family, the murder is a shocking reminder of an old loss. Twenty-five years ago, Bodine's Aunt Alice vanished, never to be heard of again. Could this new tragedy be connected to Alice's mysterious disappearance?

As events take a dramatic and deadly turn, Bodine and Callen must race to uncover the truth - before the sun sets on their future together.

Nora Roberts is one of my favourite go to authors, I enjoy her books and get carried away and lost in them...this one for me was a great read. This was one of her books with sensitive reading material.

I have also been skimming through some old recipe books I found at work...you know the ones that schools and clubs and country woman's clubs etc used to put together for fundraisers??
I was flicking through them and I was thinking about on my next leg of my journey...how I wanna be more self-sufficient and less wasteful, I want to grow my own veges to eat and pass along and it got me to thinking about making my own preserves, pickles and chutneys etc and these books are just perfect with there old school recipes. There is something satisfying about eating something you have made and being able to share your stock.

Yes more plans for the next leg of my journey. Always thinking about but at the same time not enjoying the moment.

Also What I achieved in Week 23 in My Life of Books and T.V. Series and 1 movie.

I have started watching the next season in a T.V Series that I began in 2017...Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D...Season 4...(Agent Phil Coulson returns to the worldwide law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D.. He puts together a small, highly trained, team of Agents to tackle the cases that haven't been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown.) So far I have manage to watch 3 episodes. Still really enjoy this series even if it is a few years old.

On The Book Front I have read

This is the third instalment in Kiss Rock series. The first 2 books blew my mind...these contemporary romance novels are not to be sniffed at...but TBH this book was not as amazing as the first 2...not sure how I feel about this one, I didn't dislike it, I just 'liked' it and am SOOO pleased Kit and Noah finally get their shit together lol. 3 stars.

I didn't enjoy this Y.A dystopia urban fantasy book and was trying to work out why it was even on my to TBR list.  Must of had something to do with the paranormal aspect of the book but definitely wont be reading the rest of the series. 1 star.

Captain Marvel...Not a bad movie...I enjoyed it, had a few laughs and Goose the Cat, he's my favourite ;-)

Week 23 in 2019...Lets Get This Party Started.

Finding a job was on the list of things that I needed to do this year, you know since, I haven't found my Sugar Daddy yet to take care of all my financial worries and needs *wink wink*
My savings weren't going to last forever and I was running low on cash...scrapping the bottom of the barrel, low.
CALL CENTRE...NOT FOR ME
I managed to get a call centre job and I really thought that this was my forever job and I managed to hang in there for about 3 and a half weeks but it really wasn't for me...the stress of it all was something that I have never experienced before and I thought to myself...'Is this job really worth losing my mind over?' "Is it worth the anxiety I have to go through everyday, just to go to work? No, certainly not. Time to throw the towel in a move on...move forward. Plus side was I did have to purchase new work outfits, funny side is I don't need any of it for the new job...HAHAHA... And as luck would have it, I found job number 2 relatively easy and with in 3 weeks (1 week of which I went to visit my Mum) was back at work and I am as happy as a pig in mud...it is similar to what I used to do about 10 years ago and I enjoyed that type of work then and I still enjoy that type of work now.
Similar to where I work...Not Actual.

When the job came up on one of my jobsite pages I had been scrolling through on a daily basis, I honestly couldn't believe my eyes or my luck...here was a job I could do with my eyes closed, it was full time, it was fun, it was close to home, and at a decent wage too. I applied immediately and got a response with-in 2 days, had an interview 3 days later and was working in my new job 3 days after that. BOOM...just like that. Sorted. So yeah...lets get this party started and get some of these goals I set for myself, in Year 2019, smashed.

So yes this was a big week on the employment front, settling in, learning new things and  techniques, meeting new people and working with a lot of different peeps. Bring on next week and hopefully this head cold that has been plaguing me this week disappears and I can go on enjoying my new job.

My Mooshie Went Over The Rainbow Bridge.

MY BOY, MOOSHIE

YOUR FAVOURITE CHAIR IS EMPTY NOW

NO HEAVY PADDING PAWS WILL RUN
ESCASTICALLY 2 MEET US.

I WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER
FOR I COULD NEVER MEASURE,
THE HAPINESS YOU BOUGHT TO ME
THE COMFORT AND THE PLEASURE.

YOU WERE THE CUTEST LITTLE KITTEN, I LOVED YOU FROM THE START,
I PICKED YOU UP AND TOOK YOU HOME AND PLACED YOU IN MY HEART
ALONG WE WENT ON JOURNEYS, YOU A CONSTANT BY MY SIDE
ALWAYS THERE TO PICK ME UP, A LOVE YOU COULDN'T HIDE

GOOD TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER, WE SHARED ALL LIFE COULD THROW
BUT YEARS PASSED TO QUICKLY, YOUR TIME HAD COME TO GO.
YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I MISS YOU, YOU KNOW MY HEART IS SORE
YOU KNOW MY TEARS WILL FALL, WHEN YOU'RE NOT WAITING AT THE DOOR.

I ALWAYS DID THE BEST FOR YOU, MY LOVE WAS PLAIN TO SEE
AND EVEN THOUGH IT BROKE MY HEART - YOURE SPIRIT I SET FREE
SO PLEASE BE BRAVE WITHOUT ME, ONE DAY WE'LL MEET ONCE MORE
FOR WHEN IM CALLED 2 HEAVEN, I HOPE YOU'RE WAITING AT THE DOOR.

Love your Momma
